About Meghraj

Mr. Meghraj Rajebhosale is native from sanasar, Tq. Indapur, Dist. Pune. He completed his primary education from Shri Chhatrapati High School, Bhavaninagar & obtained his degree in Arts from Fergusson College, Pune. After graduation Meghraj looked after Vimal Showroom business for some time, however, his natural inclination towards the cultural activities led him to found “Pandav Enterprizes” a theatrical production house in 1997 which introduced folk art to urban reign.
'Chaufula' the debut production of pandhav was a musical based on laavani, the traditional dance form of Maharashtra & was a runaway success in the state as well as outside. Meghraj decided to get into producing dramas & began with the production of 'Londonchi Sun, and produce three more plays subsequently.
After producing dramas, Mr. Meghraj Rajebhosale set his foot in the Marathi film industry, to produce full length feature films, his debut venture Jau Tithe Khau was a hit & celebrated silver jubilee in the theatres across the state. He has 14 stage drama's under his belt he produced around 5 Marathi Films.
Along with theatrical & film production megharaj also did a large number of AD films for multinational companies, which was acknowledged by the corporate sector, who for the first time came forward to sponsor the theatre shows of his plays. Meghraj also successfully produced & managed various events in association with mobile operator companies like Airtel, Aircel, Reliance & Idea Cellular. For the cola giant Coca Cola, he Staged a greatly successfully stage show called Coca Cola Chaufula.
Mr. Meghraj's work is even acknowledged at the government level & he has been appointed as a member of the film Censor & Grants Committee by the dept of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra in 2009. He has been appointed as the president of Akhil Bharatiya Chitrapaht Mahamandal in pune region in 2016. And is the first to introduce Digitalisation in Chitrapth Mahamandal and making Mahamandal socially and digitally available.
